Walking Tour of Medieval Galway- August 24

Galway is one of the great historical cities of Ireland. Much of its old medieval narrow streetscape is still intact. Its ancient churches, castles, merchantile houses, mills and extensive waterways ooze with stories of former glory days, cruel rulers, smuggling, great heroic deeds and bloody repression.

Would you like to find out more about the interesting heritage of your new home city?
A guided tour led by Jim Higgins, Galway's Heritage Officer, will take place on Thursday August 24th at 11am. Starting point is Galway City Hall on College Road.
There is no charge!
